Akogun Gives N1.4m To Constituents, Attends Party Meeting
In his pursuit to foster more unity and love within the ruling party in Osun, the Osun Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Adewunmi Nurudeen Babajide joined other party faithfuls to attend the PDP Ede North Local Meeting.
The Majority Leader, who was accompanied by hundred of party members and well wishers to the meeting were seen jubilating and singing melodious songs.
During the meeting, the Majority Leader, Hon. Babajide encouraged party members to remain faithful and always support the government of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, who he described as a liberator.
He noted: "It's undeniable fact that our amiable leader and father, His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke is doing fantastically well. He is delivering on his promises.
"Every nook and cranny of Osun is receiving government attention. Talk of infrastructural development, Mr Governor is doing fine; talk of health, our health centres are under rehabilitation, and many other giant strides being of taken by this administration.
The Majority Leader congratulated all Muslim faithfuls on this year's Ramadan fasting period, encouraging them to embrace the teachings of Allah during the season.
He, however, donated the sum of N1.1 million to the wards in his local government, N200,000 to extended Party Executives, and N100,000 to the Party Elders.
Furthermore, he pledged to continuously strive to bring the dividends of democracy to his people.
