I am a firm believer in inclusive governance - Governor Adeleke Tells IPAC.

Olubunmi Badiora

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has assured the newly elected executive members of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) of his belief in an all inclusive governance that will enable politicians from the opposition parties to contribute their quotas to the development of Osun State.

The Governor said that he is not advocating for an end to opposition but that it is necessary to maintain a healthy political climate in the State as the success of any elected government should be the general interest of any political class.

Senator Adeleke gave the assertion while playing host to the newly elected executive members of IPAC at the Exco Lounge in Abere.

While congratulating the new excos, he emphasised the importance of collaboration with the political class for successful governance of Osun state and pledged his readiness to work with them towards restoring citizens' trust in the political class.

He promised his administration's commitment towards fulfilling all promises made to people of the State while assuring them of his support to them in any area necessary.

The Chairman of IPAC Osun State Chapter, Pastor Victor Akande in his speech appreciated the Governor's unprecedented show of generosity towards IPAC through the sharing of palliatives in the State, which cut across every member of the citizenry irrespective of party affiliations and religious beliefs.

While reeling out the purpose of their visit, he emphasised that IPAC represents all the recognised and registered political parties in Nigeria and would continue to work towards progressive development in the State.

He commended the Governor's administration for the remarkable strides made so far in the development of the State as the gesture is a testament that His Excellency is a true lover of all citizens of the State.

He therefore expressed their readiness to work with the government towards lifting the State to greater heights while pleading with the state government to equip them with the necessary tools to enable them carry out their day-to-day activities seamlessly. ##
