Ayedaade South Council Chair, Yakubu Secures 50 scholarships for indigent students of his community


Ayedaade South LCDA Chairman, Hon. Adeyemo Yakubu has secured fifty (50) scholarships for the indigent students of his local government, as he reiterated his commitment to revamp education in his locality.

Hon. Yakubu made this disclosure during his courtesy call to the proprietor of Grace College of Education in Osogbo, Osun State. During his visit, he had the opportunity to engage in a constructive dialogue regarding the eight-point integral action plans that form the foundation of his administration.

A significant focus of the discussion centered on education, a cornerstone of progress and development. He wholeheartedly lobbied for the allocation of fifty (50) scholarships for the indigenes of Ayedaade South LCDA, specifically those from Orile Owu in Osun State, who possess a fervent desire to pursue higher education at a college of education but face financial constraints that hinder their aspirations.

The council stated that "I wish to extend my deepest appreciation to the proprietor of Grace College of Education, Osogbo, Osun State, for graciously granting us this invaluable opportunity to discuss these matters of great significance. Their willingness to collaborate in this endeavor speaks volumes about their commitment to the advancement of education and the betterment of our community.

"However, our journey towards uplifting the lives of the people of Ayedaade South LCDA, particularly in Orile Owu, does not end here. I earnestly reach out to our compatriots, both within and outside the country, seeking their support and partnership in our mission to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Ayedaade South LCDA.

"I want to reaffirm my unwavering commitment to the promises made to the good people of Ayedaade South LCDA, Orile Owu, Osun State. I pledge to persistently advocate for their welfare, and I am resolute in my determination to effect positive change for our community.
