In her remarks, Erelu Adeleke commended the women for their dedication and commitment to the advancement of women in politics. She urged them to continue to inspire other women to participate in politics and contribute to the development of the state.
"I am proud of the achievements of Osun women in politics. You have broken many barriers and shown that women are capable of achieving great things in politics and other fields of endeavor," she said.
Erelu Adeleke also pledged the support of her husband's administration to Osun women in politics. She said that the administration is committed to creating an enabling environment for women to thrive in politics and other spheres of life.
The wife of the Osun State Governor, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, has lauded Osun Women In Politics for their contributions to the development of the state through capacity building of young women. She made this assertion when she hosted the team of Osun Women in Politics led by Saliu Nofisat Opeyemi (Democracy).
