Osun State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the Osun Online Publisher Association (OOPA) on the success of the just concluded 2023 digital media week.
The Governor in a statement by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed commended online publishers in the state for being professional in the discharge of their duties.
He noted that Online Journalism is not only the rave of the moment but also of the future, adding that going into the year 2024, the Osun state government will support the association to achieve its goals.
Governor Adeleke thereafter commended the executive of the association led by their Chairman, Jare Tiamiyu, Publisher of Insight Media for being a partner in progress with the state government.
"I want to congratulate members of Osun Online Publisher Association on the success of the 2023 Osun Digital Media Week as well as for bring professional in the discharge of their duties.
"Online Journalism is not only the rave of the moment but also the rave of the future and we will support the association in achieving its goal.
"I commend the executive of the association and their chairman, Jare Tiamiyu, for being partners in progress with the state government."
