UNIOSUN TEACHING HOSPITAL SCHOOL OF POST BASIC PAEDIATRIC NURSING MATRICULATES NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS.

The new set of students admitted into the School of Post Basic Paediatric Nursing for 2023/2024 academic year were matriculated on 20th December, 2023 by the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof Peter Babatunde Olaitan.

In his address, the CMD welcomed the students officially & urged them to be good ambassadors of the Institution. It should be noted that this is the second set of the school which started a year ago following the accreditation of the school by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. The school is to bridge the vacuum that hitherto existed in Nursing care of children in the country.

Also present at the occasion were, the Director of Administration, Dr O.A. Owolade, Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, who is also the Board Chairman of the school, Dr. Adeniyi Fasanu, the Hospital Auditor , Mr Salawu, the Coordinator of the School, Mrs Olowu and a host of others.
