In less than two years of assumption of Office, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s tenure in Osun State has been marked by a radicalization of governance approach towards infrastructural development, heralding a new era of progress and transformation. Despite inheriting substantial debts in wages, salaries, and contractor obligations, Governor Adeleke has demonstrated unwavering commitment to fulfilling his promise of transforming Osun State into a model of development.
One of the most striking achievements of Governor Adeleke’s administration is the transformation of key infrastructures that were previously neglected and left to deteriorate by his predecessor. Of important note,is the rejuvenation of the State Government Secretariat, at Abeere, which stands as a testament to the administration’s dedication to modernizing governance infrastructure. The once dilapidated Secretariat has undergone a remarkable overhaul, providing a conducive environment for efficient service delivery, while also birthing a new economic community around the State Secretariat community.
Similarly, the recent completion of the refurbishment of the State Government House reflects Governor Adeleke’s commitment to restoring dignity and functionality to public institutions. By revitalizing these symbolic structures of governance, the administration sends a strong message of renewal and progress to the people of Osun State.
The expansion and rehabilitation of major township roads further underscore Governor Adeleke’s determination to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents. These road projects, which were long overdue, will not only alleviate congestion and improve traffic flow but will also stimulate economic activities and facilitate greater connectivity within the state.
