Workers in Irepodun South Erin Osun have pledged their support for Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election in 2026, expressing gratitude for the implementation of the new minimum wage. This commitment was declared during their monthly prayer session.

Mrs. Fakayode Busayo Folashade, the Head of Local Government Administration for Irepodun South LCDA, urged workers to demonstrate their appreciation by actively participating in the Governor’s re-election campaign. She emphasized that becoming advocates for his administration is the best way to show gratitude for his efforts to improve workers' welfare.

Similarly, the Director of Finance, Mr. Mutiu Qosiru Ayodeji, expressed gratitude for having a leader like Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke. He contrasted the current administration's achievements with the previous APC government, which he claimed often gave excuses to avoid implementing policies like the minimum wage. He highlighted instances where promotions under the former administration carried a monetary value of only 500 naira. Mr. Ayodeji assured that the state workforce is committed to providing maximum support for Governor Adeleke in 2026. In the same spirit, Mrs. Jokotola led prayers for the Governor, and workers sang songs of praise and appreciation for his leadership. They celebrated the new minimum wage and expressed disdain for the previous administration, criticizing their practice of granting promotions without financial benefits.
