The Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo has implored indegenes in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States to take advantage of the Imole Free Train ride during the forthcoming Eid-El Fitri celebration.
This was contained in a statement by the Commissioner, shortly after a live programme at the Lagos Television (LTV), which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Thursday.
Rev. Bunmi Jenyo who lauded the Executive Governor of Osun State, Sen. Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, reiterated that the train ride was completely prepared to convey passengers to Osogbo on Saturday, and return them back to Lagos on Wednesday next week, free of charge.
According to him, the train will take off from Iddo Terminus, Lagos on Saturday 29th March, at 10:00am prompt. The return trip from Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo is on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025 at 12:00pm prompt.
The Free Train ride initiative is one of the many commitments of the Osun State government to ease the travelling burden of the citizens, residing in other states but are interested in celebrating the Eid with their loved ones in their Osun State.
He therefore called on the prospective passengers to use the opportunity to visit the State and observe the giant strides of Governor Ademola Adeleke, in relation to the five-point integral plan of his administration.
