Industrialization: Onome Signature sets to establish ventures in Osun State

Consequent upon the industrialization agenda of the administration of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, Onome Signature has concluded plans to establish a lether-work and fabrics ventures in Osun State.

This was disclosed by the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, after a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization, Chief Onome Ogo-Ovwigho in his office on Thursday.

The Commissioner who expressed delight over the company's interest in Osun State, promised the current administration will create an enabling environment and support for their business interests to succeed.

Onome Signature, birthed in 2013, is a Nigerian owned manufacturing company that focuses on production of high quality school shoes, industrial safety shoes for construction/oil companies, combat/jungle boots, and service shoes for military/paramilitary institutions as well as production of varieties of fashion shoes for the society.

It is into production of all kinds of footwear, bags, clothing and crafts.

The company is also into skill acquisition programmes designed to empower the people, impact knowledge and make people to become self-reliant. According to the CEO, Onome Signature's products are top-notch, made from leather and fabrics of high quality that can stand the test of time.

"Onome Signature recently partnered with a company in South Africa to handle their leather works factory in training and production. We have bilateral relations with the Kwazulu-Natal Kingdom in South Africa headed by King Misuzulu in terms of Community development. We also handled facilitation of lectures for intending pensioners from the National Judicial Council, Abuja".

"We have collaborated with various countries through their embassies to carry out training and capacity building programmes, workshop development etc, some of which are: Brazil Consulate, Switzerland Consulate, Denmark Consulate, Italy Consulate and a host of other jobs, both within and outside Nigeria", she said.
