Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has praised Hon. Rasak Oyelami for empowering members of Ward 04, Opete, in Odo-Otin Local Government Area. Hon. Oyelami distributed Two Million Naira to support his constituents.
Governor Adeleke thanked Hon. Oyelami for giving back to his community and also commended other appointees for their performance. He singled out the PDP State Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi, for leading the party with transparency. The Governor urged appointees to visit their constituencies regularly and ensure they deliver benefits to the people.
“Dividend of democracy is not meant for one person alone. It is good to spread and share it, no matter how small, so everyone can benefit. That should be our philosophy,” the Governor said.
He promised more impactful projects in the remaining two years of his administration, adding, “As you enjoy my dancing, you will also enjoy the good works of my government.” He also dismissed opposition claims of calling themselves progressive party, saying that PDP is the only true progressive party.
The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, praised Governor Adeleke for leading the government with integrity and achieving results.
Hon. Rasak Oyelami expressed gratitude to the Governor for attending the event. He also thanked Hon. Sunday Bisi for his dedication to the party. Hon. Oyelami spoke about his positive relationship with the late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke and appreciated the Adeleke family’s contributions to his life and Osun State.
The event was attended by dignitaries, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor,Alh Kazeem Akinleye,PDP State Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi; SUBEB Chairman, Hon. Ibukun Fadipe; traditional rulers, including Oba Moshood Olawale Olaleke II and Oba Samuel Oyedele Akanni; commissioners, advisers, and other government officials.
